everyone that I wanted to be there most was there: andrew and sara and jarrod and sean…..
and they all said that I did well ( I don’t think I did very well at all but who knows, I’m hard on myself about everything)
but people cheered.
and I laughed.
and they clapped.
and the room went dark.
and I came home and there was a bouquet of flowers on my bed.
and...
I forgot that you’re not supposed to eat before shows.
stupid nerves.

he had three pictures to take and he ended up taking one of me as I sat in the classroom drawing, then he grabbed Karri’s hat and took a photograph of it and when he went to set it back down at Karri’s spot he leaned over and it was like, time stopped.
